After almost a decade I realized that I can workout with my dog even if she is the anti-dog (no running, no ball chasing, lots of hiding out under the covers). Here's a workout TJ and I did with Leah while we were in Boise. It works great with a 40lb pitbull (workout may be modified based on breed and weight of dog).
Warm-up with a light jog! Dog resistance helps you train your forward lean!
I enjoyed a few reps of the Turkish Get-Up:
TJ trained some push-ups and squats:
I ended with some extreme sit-ups - Leah currently represents my 1 Rep Max goal for the extreme sit-up!
